the most valuable thing photography has taught me is the power of intentionality. whenever i’m inspired by a body of work, it’s always because of their vision. even the candid moments have purpose; every detail is calculated. that’s become exactly where i put my own energy.
these two drove in from houston so we could photograph this exciting time in their lives. the overcast weather couldn't have been more perfect, and everything fell right into place.
documenting alex and austin just felt right - there’s no other way to put it. they’re one of those couples you can connect about anything with, because it feels as though you’ve known them forever. their wedding is next fall in vermont and is inspired by dark beers, local farms, and maple syrup. i’m not sure i can think of a better combination. 🍁
